The Project Manager met with us often to keep us updated on the progress of the renovations and to discuss any scheduling conflicts. Disruption of service to our guests was kept to an absolute minimum, and the pool was made available to our guests on the weekends. All work areas were kept clean and presentable which made the transition seem effortless…Our experience with BM&K has been outstanding and I would highly recommend them for a renovation project. “I wanted to thank you all for your hard work in getting the Donovan renovations completed and the building cleaned and prepped for today…Donovan looks fantastic! Parents, students, and alumni are very complementary of the renovations…It wouldn’t have happened without your considerable time and effort. The staff and I are very grateful.”

“Please accept my thanks for the recently completed renovation of Donovan Hall dormitory on the Dahlonega campus of UNG. BM&K completed a very challenging renovation of a 1970’s era residence hall in a very compressed schedule and turned over the completed project by the contracted delivery date to allow for occupancy in Fall semester of this year.

Your staff was very cordial and exhibited a “teamwork” approach throughout the project. This was essential as several “unknowns” were discovered during construction which necessitated a collaborative problem solving process to keep the project moving and achieve the required completion.”

I hope that BM&K will express interest in further work with UNG.

“The City of Dunwoody selected BM&K Construction as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the renovation of an existing building to serve as the City’s new City Hall. Since incorporation in 2008, the City had leased office space, but in 2016, made the decision to purchase a two-story multi-tenant office building to renovate for a more permanent home. At the time BM&K was brought on board to serve as CMAR, we were face with a tight timeline to complete design and construction. BM&K was certainly up to the challenge, and worked very closely with the design team, City staff and the Program Manager to adhere to an aggressive schedule.

As we learned through this project, retrofitting an existing multi-tenant building to serve one tenant presents several unique challenges. Building systems and finishes in the building were a hodgepodge that has been pieced together over the twenty year life of the building. As we were faced with these circumstances, BM&K was diligent in offering solutions that would be cost effective, durable, and visually appealing. The project was delivered on time and on budget in late 2017. Since moving into the building there have been a few minor items to be addressed under warranty. In each case BM&K has continued to be very responsive and has promptly handled each item.

In summary, as project manager for the City of Dunwoody on the City Hall renovation, O have been highly satisfied with the service and the product provided by BM&K. Given the positive outcome of our City Hall renovation, we recently engaged BM&K to renovate another existing office building owned by the City.”
